Check out this video from the vault from an event we ran in July 2022.
Here is the original synopsis:
About this event
People are the most important part of any business, which in turn means People Ops is rapidly becoming one of the most important functions within businesses. A People Ops function typically focusses on a wide variety of areas including employee training, development, engagement and retention amongst others. It's easy to see a company where People Ops is not done correctly, but what does a company look like when People Ops is done right? This is the key question we'll be discussing with our experts as part of this event. We'll be aiming to cover questions such as: - How do you decide which areas to focus on, first? - What advice would you have for people about to start a People Ops role in a new company? - How do you know if you're having the right impact on a company? - What measures can be put into place to set the right expectations? - What is the difference between a good People Ops department and a great People Ops department? In this event Lea Marolt Sonnonschein, CEO of JRNY will be asking the panel to draw on the lessons they've learned through their careers around the successes and failures they've made and any advice they'd offer others. Our panellists for this event:
- Lindsay Gordan - Career Coach for Analytically Minded People - Isoken Ann Okusami - Chief People Officer - Simon Mennell - Chief People Officer - Consultant - Kel Hartman - Chief People Officer. Executive Coach You should attend this event if you are:
- Currently in a senior People Ops role and would like to hear the views of others
- In a junior People Ops role and would like to understand what seniors are saying
- Looking for case studies to justify further investment into a People Ops function
This event is organised by RecWorks on behalf of Aspiring People Ops Leaders.
