Check out this video from the vault from an event we ran in April 2022.
Here is the original synopsis:
About this event
The world of HR is constantly changing, and it now means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Many startups now hire Chief People Officers over HR directors so we're going to be digging into this area.
This event is part of a series of interviews and roundtables with experienced heads of people departments, HR Directors, HRBP consultants and similar to discuss how they manage the shifting tides of HR, what it means to them and how they see the industry shaping up and developing.
Amongst other things we expect to be digging into: What exactly is People Ops? What are the similarities and differences between HR and People Ops? Why is a shift relevant and... necessary? Can they co-exist within a single company? We'll also be covering some trending concepts and phrases like "employee as users" and "having a product mindset"?
What you can expect: Lively discussion and roundtable from industry experts - you are invited to get involved in the discussion or sit back and spectate Actionable advice on how to manage your managers humanely and effectively Real-life examples and initiatives that you can relate to in your own business Humour, empathy and inspiration to help you make the changes you need to
