About the job
We’re at the early stages of an exciting multi-year global program to transform the way we bring talented people into our organization and we’re looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Team Lead, remotely based within the European region to join us. You’ll operate in a player-coach capacity, with accountability for day-to-day operational delivery - firmly focused on delivering against your own requisition workload, whilst also supporting and enabling our team of 6 global Talent Acquisition advisors to deliver on theirs. Working with the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, you’ll also help drive operational improvements as well as develop our team.
Some of the key things you will do each day include
Own the full life cycle recruitment process for vacancies assigned to you across specified business areas – from hiring manager intake through to candidate onboarding
Provide day to day operational team leader support to a global team of Talent Acquisition Advisors, ensuring consistency in recruitment practices, and driving accountability for delivery
Ensure day to day operational delivery meets internal targets, monitor recruiting outcomes and recruiter capacity. Act as first point of escalation for recruiting delivery challenges.
Build partnerships as a strategic talent advisor with business leaders and hiring managers
Provide full recruitment cycle & candidate relationship management activities focused on providing an outstanding candidate experience at each step
Support the effective implementation / delivery of talent acquisition projects & initiatives
What you will bring with you
You’ll have an excellent grasp of recruitment operations across the full hiring lifecycle and bring experience of working within a recruiting environment where day to day delivery has been optimized for consistency, experience, and outcomes – we really value this experience and the ideas you can bring as we move forward with our own transformation. You don’t need full global experience but an appreciation of regional variations, cultural awareness with a passion for creating a best practice approach for all is essential.
You’ll have had some previous accountability for a small number of recruiters (we have a global team of 6), and most importantly you’ll need to be comfortable with a player-coach role where you will spend up to 70% of your time handling your own requisition workload. You’ll be someone who naturally leads by example – setting the standard in how roles are managed from start to finish, and who holds others accountable for matching these standards.
You’ll be a strong relationship builder, collaborating across our business and with the function to create a clear understanding of and commitment to excellence in day-to-day recruiting, and able to leverage these relationships to quickly unblock operational issues that impact our ability to recruit the most talented people.
