Your Impact
You will be responsible for utilizing your experience in scaling startups to lead our global Talent Acquisition function as we hire for 50+ roles in the next 6-12 months, with more projected depending on business requirements.
At Virtual Internships, we recognize that “at the end of the day, you bet on people, not strategy” - as such you will be responsible developing and implementing our recruitment strategies to ensure we are only hiring the very best talent across the the world (we are remote first!)
Anticipate future business needs and build a resource forecasting model by partnering with leadership and functional heads
Lead all sourcing strategies and adopt a multi-channel approach to recruit.
Engage, manage and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Managers who thrives in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings
Implement online and offline employer branding activities
Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication)
Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of VI
Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines, and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress

Your Attributes
You’ve “seen the movie before” - you know what it takes to hire for a growth stage startup in the 50-200 employee bracker
You have a strong Interest in understanding the business as a whole . You can advise leadership on organizational design appropriate to the current& future stages of the business
You will be a persuasive recruiter, storyteller and straight up hustler but you’re also….
You're process-orientated - you know the only way to scale is through process, but you also know when and how to introduce process (read: you don’t over-engineer)
You’re “tech-enabled” - you know enough to implement an ATS and any recruiter tech stacks
Your Experience
3 years+ of experience leading the Talent Acquisition/Hiring function for a startup in the 50-200 employee bracket
10+ years of overall experience in recruitment
Experience recruiting for talent in more than one continent
Experience recruiting for Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Sales roles
You stand out from the crowd if:
You have recruitment experience at a Series A or Series B startup and/or have been a founder/co-founder of a recruitment business that had clients of the similar scale/stages
You have experience hiring from India, Vietnam, UK, and the US
