JOB PURPOSE


The Recruiter role will take the lead in recruiting for a variety of roles in the Renaissance International organisation, including locations in the UK, Australia and China, you will be focused on sourcing and hiring the best talent to join one of the market leading Ed-Tech companies.


You will have experience working in a fast-paced organisation, specifically on project hiring and campaign recruitment – additional broader HR experience is also welcome!


This role is offered on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis and will be based remotely, with some travel to our Canary Wharf office when required.


Responsibilities


  • Take the lead on hiring all current vacancies, and leading the full recruitment lifecycle, from screen to offer.

  • Ensure all roles have the appropriate approvals in place before hiring commences, and that systems are updated as required.

  • Work with hiring managers to agree appropriate recruitment format and processes for each role, creating assessments and candidate exercises where necessary.

  • Screen candidates effectively to ensure they are eligible and appropriate for the roles they are being considered for.

  • Manage reqs to a high standard to ensure hiring managers are presented with the best quality candidates.

  • Manage all interview scheduling together with support from the HR Assistant to ensure candidates are well informed ahead of interviews and Hiring Managers receive excellent service and candidate management.

  • Ensure roles are graded and have compensation alignment agreed with our US comp team before hiring commences – ensure that roles are aligned against other internal roles prior to offer

  • Support hiring for positions across our international business, including the UK, China and Australia with potential to expand into other countries as required. Experience of international hiring is desirable but not essential.

  • Produce a weekly hiring dashboard, detailing open roles, time to hire, pipeline details and offer status to keep the ILT informed.

  • Manage internal referral programme and referred candidates. Take ownership of internal role advertising and internal applications.

  • Generalist HR experience desirable, but not essential.

  • Open to supporting other projects and initiatives within the broader HR team when scope allows.

  • Support hiring managers by developing their interview practice and techniques and supporting managers who may be hiring for the first time. Aiding with the creation of interview assessments and questions.


Qualifications


  • Prior experience of working in a fast paced, high-volume environment with multiple changing priorities. Experience of working in a business experiencing high volumes of change is desirable.

  • Comfortable in getting “hands on” with operational Recruitment work when required and enjoys being part of a hard-working team.

  • Effective at streamlining and improving overall processes in order to achieve efficiencies across the Recruitment and onboarding process

  • Well-developed communication skills in order to be effective with all stakeholders, including effective presentation skills.

  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport with candidates

  • Able to build trust quickly and prove credibility. Be an ambassador for identifying and hiring the best talent and leading by example.

  • Comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders across the business, and the ability to provide them with an excellent level of service
