Job Role


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic talent acquisition professional to help take our talent acquisition offering to the next level. Reporting to Head of People & Culture, the Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for operational end to end recruitment, as well as long ranging and proactive talent acquisition activity, such as employment branding, ED&I advocacy, ATS implementations, early careers partnerships and much more:


Talent planning and pipelines


  • Establish annual headcount requirements and working closely with hiring leads, establish phased hiring needs. Working closely with the wider P&C team and key stakeholders, create a proactive organisation wide workforce plan.

  • Partner with key stakeholders and the People & Culture team to design and build the ‘Curve Way for Talent’ including critical role ID, succession plans, gap analysis and contribute generally to the broader talent strategy and discussion. Lead on external talent mapping for critical roles with identified succession gaps.

  • Develop practices and partnerships aimed at attracting early career and diverse talent - apprentice schemes, university and tertiary partnerships, internships, grad schemes, career events.

  • In conjunction with Marketing and industry bodies (e.g., Women in Games, BAME in Games, UKIE), build and communicate Curve’s employer brand, staying up to date with the video games industry trends and practises to ensure we remain an attractive employer of choice.


Recruitment and selection


  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from initial brief to offer, attracting and sourcing talented individuals who can contribute meaningfully to support the growth of the business.

  • Develop robust and diverse candidate pipelines through use of LinkedIn, social media, CV databases, industry contacts, internet forums, events and other resources.

  • Screening, assessing and qualifying candidates against role competencies and requirements.

  • Managing interviews and communicating feedback effectively with the business and candidates, ensuring a quality experience always.

  • Work in conjunction with the wider P&C team to ensure a seamless onboarding process.

  • Own, design and proactively deliver analytics and insights into the sourcing process, the candidate market and competition, providing continuous improvement and innovation to the Talent Acquisition offer.


Technology and best practice


  • Identify and implement a new ATS for Curve Games (currently Posting Panda).

  • Leverage technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness, e.g., video interviewing, process automation, workflows, integrations etc.


What we want from you:


  • Strong internal end to end recruitment and more broad TA experience, with demonstrable success hiring for roles across all levels and functions.

  • Experience working within a creative industry, Gaming would be a distinct advantage.

  • Direct candidate sourcing or headhunting experience.

  • Proven success recruiting at pace in a changing and challenging marketplace.

  • Experience implementing best practice hiring strategies and processes encouraging diversity.

  • Strong knowledge of hiring trends and recruitment tools and platforms

  • Experience running successful social media campaigns.

  • Knowledge of early talent programmes and how to develop and embed these

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Analytical and used to setting and reporting against metrics / KPIs.

  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.

  • Experience working with niche roles, small talent pools or in a company that has scaled are all advantageous.
